The world’s economies are undergoing an energy transition, moving away from fossil-based systems like oil, natural gas, and coal toward renewable and sustainable energy sources with limited or no carbon emissions. This shift is a key part of global decarbonisation efforts.

Energy Transition Overview
Energy Transition refers to our economy’s shift from fossil-based systems of energy production and consumption, including oil, natural gas and coal, to one with limited or no carbon emissions based on the use of renewable energy sources like wind and solar, hydrogen and the use of batteries and other potential forms of energy storage.
