We are pleased to announce the publication of SLR’s 2025 Sustainability Report, detailing our performance and progress from 1st of January to 31st of December 2025, and setting out priorities for 2026 and beyond.

Alongside the Sustainability Report, we are also publishing our 2025 Climate and Nature Report, providing further transparency on the climate- and nature-related risks and opportunities relevant to our business and how these are being assessed and integrated into decision-making.

The Sustainability Report provides a transparent overview of progress against SLR’s sustainability commitments and marks an important step forward with the launch of a new Sustainability Strategy designed to embed sustainability across the business and strengthen delivery of measurable impact.

Key messages include:

A new Sustainability Strategy

A key milestone in 2025 was the development of SLR’s new Sustainability Strategy, informed by a comprehensive Double Materiality Assessment and shaped through engagement across the global business.  This was launched in early 2026.

The strategy introduces a clear framework built around three focus pillars: Our People, Our Clients and Services, and Our Environment, supported by Our Foundations, including Governance and Ethics and Community Investment.

The focus is now on execution, by embedding sustainability into everyday decision-making, supported by clear governance, measurable targets and consistent accountability.

The 2025 Sustainability Report reflects our previous reporting style, while introducing a structure aligned with the newly developed Sustainability Strategy. From 2026, our KPIs and targets will be fully aligned with the new strategy.

Strengthening governance and accountability

To support delivery of the Sustainability Strategy, SLR established a Sustainability Committee at executive level, ensuring sustainability remains central to our strategic direction.

Alongside this, our 2025 Climate and Nature Report provides a more detailed and forward-looking view of how climate- and nature-related risks and opportunities are identified, assessed and managed across the business. Prepared in line with UK Climate-Related Financial Disclosure Regulations, the report reflects our continued alignment with leading frameworks such as TCFD and TNFD and supports the integration of climate and nature considerations into our enterprise risk management processes and strategic planning.

The report sets out our governance approach, with oversight from the Board and Executive Committee, and outlines how climate and nature risks are evaluated through structured scenario analysis across short-, medium- and long-term time horizons. This includes consideration of both transition risks associated with the move to a low-carbon economy and physical risks linked to climate-related hazards, helping to strengthen the resilience of our business and the advice we provide to clients.

Enhancing impact and community engagement

During 2025, SLR began developing a client impact framework to strengthen how we articulate and evidence the environmental and social impact delivered through our work.

We also deepened our understanding of social impact across global operations, informing the development of a new Community Investment Strategy launched in early 2026.

Community engagement remained a priority, with 2026 seeing the launch of new partnerships such as Regeneration Brainery in Europe, supporting STEM learning, social mobility and engagement with young people.

Through our ‘One Team’ culture of fairness and inclusion, we are strengthening how we are Making Sustainability Happen. It is this culture, alongside the commitment and expertise of our teams across SLR, that continues to drive our progress.

While SLR is not yet subject to mandatory sustainability reporting, we have proactively aligned our practices with relevant standards to ensure readiness and transparency and strengthened our reporting this year by reporting against GRI in Appendix 1.

Looking ahead

Looking ahead, SLR will focus on embedding its new Sustainability Strategy across the business, continuing to improve data quality, and further developing frameworks to measure and demonstrate impact.

Through this approach, SLR aims to strengthen how we deliver sustainable outcomes within our own operations, for our clients, and in the communities we serve.

We invite all stakeholders to explore the full report and share their feedback with our Global Sustainability Director, Sarah Gillett, at sustainability@slrconsulting.com.
