Mining & Minerals professionals will meet in person for three days from the 14-16 June 2023 at the Goldfields Arts Centre in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, Western Australia.

The Goldfields Environmental Management Group (GEMG) Conference provides a source of information on environmental management practices with a focus on the mining industry; exploring issues such as community & external stakeholders, ecology (flora & vegetation, fauna, stygofauna etc.), environmental education & communication, environmental management systems, legislation, regulatory approvals & processes, materials characterisation, mine closure, rehabilitation, waste management, recycling, water management.

Our own expert, Edwin Castleblanco, Senior Project Consultant - GIS & Information Services, will be a presenting ‘Assessing impacts of extreme weather on mine closure planning’ (produced by M Papenfus, C. Roberts, SLR Consulting).
