Cristian Rencoret

Biography

Cristian Rencoret is an Industrial Decarbonization Manager at SLR, based in Santiago. He has six years of experience in sustainability, hydrogen, mobility, and carbon emissions, with a focus on decarbonization strategies for the mining, utilities, consumer, and impact investment sectors across Latin America, the United States, and Europe.

His experience includes developing hydrogen and electrification roadmaps, Scope 1, 2, and 3 carbon accounting, and techno-economic analysis for clean mobility and energy transition initiatives. Before joining SLR, Cristian worked at ENGIE Group, where they progressed from intern to manager, leading projects on mining decarbonization, fleet electrification, and emissions-reduction strategies.

Cristian holds a degree in Civil Industrial Engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, with a specialization in operations research, logistics, and transport.
