Sofía Díaz

Biography

Sofía Díaz is an Industrial Decarbonization Consultant at SLR, based in Santiago. She has five years of experience in sustainability, circularity, off-grid solutions, and carbon emissions, supporting clients across the energy, mining, technology, entertainment, and public sectors in Chile, the United States, and Mexico.

Her experience includes strategic and techno-economic analysis for energy transition, decarbonization, circular economy, zero-waste, and climate-risk initiatives. She has contributed to projects such as decarbonization roadmaps for mining, long-term renewable energy generation strategies, climate risk assessments, off-grid energy solutions, and Scope 3 emissions-reduction programs through supplier engagement.

Sofía holds a degree in Civil Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María.
