Javier Sánchez Muñoz

Biography

Javier is a sustainable sourcing professional with experience in resilience analysis, due diligence strategy, and implementation across supply chains spanning multiple commodities and products (e.g., critical raw materials, natural gas). He focuses on helping global companies understand their exposure to environmental and social supply chain risks and impacts, supporting on areas such as policy and regulatory alignment, supplier data collection, supplier engagement, and supply chain mapping. He also brings experience in GHG accounting and decarbonisation strategy. Javier previously worked on a start-up project focused on sustainable energy use and identifying energy-saving opportunities in the industrial sector. Prior to this, he spent five years working as a lawyer, with a strong focus on European Union legislation.
