Biography
Rodrigo is based in our Brisbane office and has over 20 years of experience in water resources assessment and management, groundwater and surface water modelling, hydrogeological conceptualisation, flood risk assessment, community/stakeholder engagement and participatory modelling processes across different sectors (mining, agriculture, water utilities, government, academia).
Rodrigo’s skills cover project management and a solid understanding of uncertainty and sensitivity analysis techniques for impact and risk assessment, water resources engineering, surface water-groundwater interaction, and participatory hydro(geo)logical modelling methods. Rodrigo oversees the planning, management and delivery of groundwater characterisation and assessment projects using multiple lines of evidence for a diverse client portfolio. Rodrigo has a track record of successfully managing and delivering domestic and international projects (Chile, Peru, Italy, Belgium), with experience in strategic water planning for mining operations in Chile and Australia.
