Jo Steele

Biography

Jo is the Operations Manager for the European Land and Water service line at SLR. Jo specialises in the assessment of land contamination in relation to environmental permitting, planning applications, transactional due diligence, and other legislative and regulatory drivers.

She has supported clients in many sectors, providing pragmatic, efficient and cost-effective solutions with a focus on sustainability, with experience in oil and gas, property development, beverage, automotive, aerospace, nuclear and chemicals.

In recent years, Jo has been working with her clients to help them understand their potential risks and liability associated with emerging contaminants, with a focus on the group of man-made chemicals: PFAS.
