Jane Dan

Biography

Jane is the Audit Quality Assurance Director for SLR. She has 15 years of management system audit experience from third party audit firms, focusing on environmental and social compliance for a wide range of industries, including labour rights, work conditions, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection, as well as community development.

Besides field audits, Jane has overseen internal audit quality assurance with a combined volume of 500 OECD Due Diligence Guidance and Environmental Social Governance (ESG) based audits per annum, with the audit scope covering upstream mining companies to downstream manufactures, railway, port, softline and hardline industries, etc on responsible production, responsible sourcing, and chain of custody.

Jane also provides technical assistance and advisory services to companies to help them establish and implement management system to achieve industrial certification.

Before joining audit firms, Jane had worked in lawyers’ firms and NGO on projects such as labour rights and vulnerable group caring.
