Biography

Emma has over 15 years’ experience within the historic buildings sector, across both consultancy and academia. She is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (MCIfA) and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries (FSA). With a varied range of expertise in the research of both ecclesiastical and secular historic buildings across the UK, and about which Emma has published and presented on widely, she is leading the growth of the team’s built heritage offering. Her specialities focus on providing clear and strategic advice for the historic built environment, notably through project management; applications and reports for listed buildings/buildings in conservation areas; planning/character appraisals; heritage assessments; statements of significance/impact; archival research/analysis; conservation statements/plans; retrofitting; and feasibility and due diligence assessments.
