Chynna Pickens

Biography

Chynna is currently based in the D.C. area and has been with SLR since 2021. Her experience with SLR has consisted of contributing to and leading projects such as annual report development, rater and ranker submissions, gap analysis and strategy development. She has also provided her technical expertise in materiality assessments across various industries (retail, food & agriculture, apparel etc.). Previously, Chynna worked as a Sustainability Coordinator at the American Chemistry Council where she engaged with over 100 chemical manufacturing organizations, analyzing environmental and social data to identify industry-wide trends.​ She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Northeastern University with minors in Economics and Spanish.​
