Biography

Chani is based in our Sydney office with over 24 years’ experience in the waste management and environmental sectors working across a range of service areas including environmental impact assessment, preparation of waste management strategies, design of waste management and resource recovery facilities and technical advisory services for major infrastructure procurement.

During his career he has been responsible for the tendering and successful delivery of a wide range of high profile waste management projects ranging from due diligence of industrial facilities as part of mergers and acquisitions, financial and economic modelling of alternative waste management options, design and procurement of waste management infrastructure including innovative waste collection systems, transfer stations and advanced waste processing technologies including energy from waste. Through this experience he provides clients the benefits of his deep understanding of waste processing technologies, markets, contractual structures and regulatory environments across Australia and other regions.
