We are pleased to announce that Dan Harvey has joined SLR as the Technical Discipline Manager - GIS & Information Services in Canada.

Dan has 16 years of professional experience in GIS, leading data management and environmental regulatory projects across a variety of stakeholders and technical disciplines. He has valuable experience in digital transition and leading cross-business line teams to develop impactful and efficient workflows and reporting systems. With a background in innovating within the environmental industry, he has a proven track record and a strong drive to embrace and implement new technologies.

Positioned under the Environmental Management, Planning, and Approvals service line, Dan's responsibilities include developing the strategy and annual priorities for the GIS & Information Services team. This involves creating key programs, overseeing client delivery, shaping business development strategies, and identifying training requirements. His commitment to innovation and efficiency will be key to ensuring consistency in quality and standardizing data presentation for reports and client delivery. With his diverse and expert background in GIS and data management, Dan will play a crucial role in helping SLR to identify opportunities and enhance our technical resources to meet the changing needs of our clients.
