SLR is pleased to celebrate 10 years in West Virginia with original founders, Nathaniel (Nate) Lanham and Chris Boggess continuing to lead our outstanding team of air quality and compliance specialists. With Principal Engineer, Jesse Hanshaw joining shortly after, the West Virginia office has expanded to include Krissy Whiting, Ryan Bell, and Kora Younts broadening our service offerings to include permitting, environmental management systems, site assessments, regulatory review, and compliance to a growing range of clients in the energy, mining, and industry sectors.

With a multidiscipline background, Nate brings over 14 years of consulting experience with his initial work focused on supporting SLR’s clients in our Charleston, West Virginia and Portland, Oregon offices. His background includes working with northeast clients in developing, managing, and permitting air quality and compliance projects.

“Our Charleston team’s enthusiasm is key to our success in West Virginia and the surrounding area,” commented Steve Locke, Director of US Strategic Growth. “With their strong background in air-quality permitting and compliance combined with a focus on impeccable service, they have successfully built impressive relationships with new and long-term clients. We are pleased to be able to continue to increase our geographical footprint in the Appalachians and expand SLR’s service offerings in a region with so much opportunity.”

SLR is an environmental and advisory consulting firm. Founded in the U.K. in 1994, SLR now operates in five regions with over 100 offices. In the U.S., SLR has over 480 people operating from 39 offices in technical areas including air quality permitting, compliance, remediation, engineering, ESG, and advisory services.
