SLR is pleased to share that we have developed a new competency development programme to support organisations with environmental law compliance management.

The programme has been designed to support delegates with the key competencies to effectively manage environmental law compliance for their organisation.

Delivered remotely via SLR’s interactive Virtual Learning Environment, or face to face at your own premises, the programme delivers comprehensive and practical knowledge in a short modular course format, enabling delegates to study at their own pace, and to choose the entire programme or any of the individual courses according to their competency requirements.

The environmental law competency programme consists of 10 individual courses in 3 modules, and covers:

Module 1: An introduction to environmental law:

Course 1a: The structure of environmental law

Course 1b: Identifying environmental laws applicable to your organisation

Module 2: Practical compliance management by environmental media:

Course 2a: Waste legislation and best practice management

Course 2b: Water legislation

Course 2c: Emissions to air, energy and carbon legislation

Course 2d: Installation environmental permits
