Biography
Jeff Rau is a Senior Regulatory Advisor with more than 20 years of experience in environmental consulting. He has advised on and managed provincially and federally regulated projects across the energy sector, including upstream, midstream, and power.
Throughout his career, he has transitioned from technical specialist roles in wildlife biology and environmental planning and permitting to managing and advising on complex, multidisciplinary projects across Western Canada.
Jeff specializes in environmental and socio-economic assessments (ESAs), routing and siting for linear projects and facilities, environmental protection plans, construction and post-construction environmental services, and strategic advisory support to clients. His experience includes Indigenous and stakeholder engagement, risk assessment, and risk management.
