The UK is undergoing one of the most significant periods of waste and recycling reform in decades, and local authorities are under increasing pressure to keep pace. Many councils are facing significant challenges in meeting their statutory requirements, with financial pressure remaining a persistent concern.

Mining & Minerals professionals will meet in person from the 24-25 May 2023 at Optus Stadium for the AusIMM Mineral Resource Estimation Conference. The conference will showcase leading best practice, case studies and research on mineral resource estimation and the software applications required. Facilitating open exchange of information, boasting interactive sessions, panel discussions and keynote presentations alongside case studies and peer-reviewed papers.

Session topics will showcase the latest advancements and leading examples in: QA/QC and sampling, 3D geological and estimation domain modelling, geostatistical analysis, estimation, validation and risk analysis, and reporting.

Our own expert, Sean Horan, Technical Manager of Geology and Principal Resource Geologist, Canada will be a session panelist discussing geological modelling software: development and limitations.
