Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards - What to expect from mandatory climate disclosures for Australian Businesses

In October 2023, the Australian Accounting Standards Board released and exposure draft for mandatory sustainability and climate-related financial disclosures for Australian businesses.

The requirements are comprehensive and will require a step-change in climate reporting for many Australian businesses. Over the last few months our team have produced a factsheet covering the key aspects of the proposed requirements, as well as a series of blogs on four key areas which we think will be the most challenging for companies to address:
