2023 B4SI Annual Global Conference (EMEA/NA/LatAm) - Driving Social Impact through Global Measurement

Don’t miss this Business for Societal Impact (B4SI) event which will provide inspiration as you look forward to 2024!

In 2023, the ‘new normal’ might be characterised by an increased awareness of the pervasiveness of societal issues and the need to reconsider corporate approaches towards these challenges as a core business function. By many measures inequality has continued to rise, and global growth predictions are worsening.

In the reporting landscape globally, companies are drawn to further disclosure of their community efforts through the lens of materiality and the resources required for increased environmental reporting in some cases risks social action being deprioritised.

B4SI provides practitioners with the tools and frameworks necessary to navigate this landscape. Collectively we advance the conversation by continuing to highlight the relevance of community investment activity and developing further frameworks and tools that sustain strategic management of social impact relevant to societal issues and a company’s material risks.

With this context, we have the following agenda planned for this year’s annual event.

  • Welcome & event opening.
  • B4SI: A Year in Review
  • Panel discussion 1: Mitigating risk through social impact
  • Insights from the 2022/23 B4SI global annual member benchmark
  • Panel discussion 2: Evidencing strategic social impact
  • Wrap up and event close.
