Biography
Onur has 20 years’ experience in engineering and consulting, with particular expertise in CSRD, ESG Due Diligence, Sustainable Finance, Environmental and Social Assessments, Sustainable Sourcing, EU Taxonomy, ESG Reviews, ESG Metrics and Disclosures, EHS Due Diligence, Energy Efficiency, and Sustainability. He is trained as a mechanical engineer and has a master’s degree in energy conversion and management. He has worked in Belgium, Germany, Turkey, and the United States for leading industrial companies and consultancies in regional and global roles.
Onur has an extensive experience in managing environmental and social assessments for a range of clients globally. His project experience covers sectors such as biomaterials, warehouses, chemicals, food and beverage, forest and agricultural industries, metal working industry, mining, infrastructure, renewables, real estate, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, and recycling and waste management.
