Biography

Based in our Brisbane office, Gavin Hull is a highly experienced environmental engineer and waste management specialist with more than 25 years of experience delivering waste, resource recovery and circular economy projects across Australia and the UK. He specialises in strategic waste management, materials flow analysis, waste analytics, resource recovery infrastructure planning and energy-from-waste assessments.

Gavin has advised federal, state and local governments, regional organisations and industry on a wide range of projects, including waste and resource recovery strategies, regional waste management plans, organics processing solutions, risk and resilience frameworks and circular economy initiatives. He is particularly skilled in using data, modelling, and options analysis to support evidence-based policy, planning and investment decisions.

Known for his collaborative approach, Gavin brings together technical specialists, stakeholders, and decision-makers to solve complex challenges and achieve practical outcomes. He provides strategic leadership and technical direction on projects that help clients improve resource recovery, strengthen resilience, and advance their sustainability objectives.
