Malk partners with the Integrated Disclosure Project

Malk, part of SLR, has partnered with the Integrated Disclosure Project (IDP) as its Premier Thought Leadership Partner, supporting the IDP’s key mission to provide borrowers an organised and standardised means to collect and report sustainability information to their investors and other relevant stakeholders.

The IDP is an industry initiative brought together by leading organisations in the private credit and syndicated loan markets to improve sustainability transparency and accountability. Through the use of the publicly available IDP Data Templates – which serve as a market-wide standard – the initiative aims to streamline borrower disclosures and provide lenders and investors with consistent, comparable sustainability data to support a number of integrations across the private credit and syndicated loan markets, including for corporates and real estate borrowers.

As Premier Thought Leadership Partner, Malk will support the mission of the IDP and the uptake of the Templates by jointly publishing a series of strategic and expert insights. These works will draw attention to the Templates, their use cases, and the benefits that they present to the surrounding market ecosystem – lenders, borrowers, equity sponsors, limited partners, and even the customers and operating stakeholders of the borrowers themselves. The content will also showcase how the Templates can serve as a conduit to valuable, actionable sustainability performance insights across companies and portfolios. Thought leadership insights will be found via the Malk and Integrated Disclosure Project LinkedIn pages, as well as the respective content pages of Malk and the IDP.
