Tamarack North Project PEA Update – CFTF Design

The Tamarack Project is a high quality Nickel- Copper deposit in Minnesota, USA, broken into the Tamarack North and South Projects.

The North deposit has been the topic of a Preliminary Economic Assessment. The Tamarack Project is owned by Talon Metals, and they have released an NI 43-101 Preliminary Economic Assessment for the North Project. The project involves an underground mine with cemented tailings backfill, a co-disposal filtered tailings facility (CFTF) and minimal surface disturbance. In 2020 the project revised the ore cut-off grade, mine plan, process plant design, and mine waste management in an updated PEA.
