Biography

Based in our Perth office, Tom is an occupational health and hygiene professional with more than 15 year’s supporting clients across the mining and resources, oil and gas, infrastructure, utilities, defence and government sectors.

Tom specialises in occupational health and hygiene, health risk assessment, asbestos and hazardous materials management and workplace health systems. He advises clients throughout the project lifecycle, from exploration and feasibility studies through to commissioning and operations with regards to risk assessment, operational standards, monitoring, regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement .

His technical expertise spans exposure assessment and monitoring, air quality and noise surveys, drinking water quality management, health surveillance programs, psychosocial risk management, health management frameworks, and programme scheduling. Tom has also provided specialist guidance on fibrous minerals, asbestos management and hazardous materials for major mining and infrastructure projects across Western Australia.

In addition to his technical capabilities, Tom has led multidisciplinary teams, managed contractors and allied health providers, and delivered health and wellbeing initiatives. Known for his collaborative and pragmatic approach, Tom helps clients navigate complex health risks, meet regulatory obligations and create healthier, safer workplaces.
