Matthew Hoare is Principal Consultant Mining Asia-Pacific at SLR, based in Brisbane, Australia. He has over 20 years of international mining experience, specializing in mine planning and operational leadership across nickel, coal, gold, lithium, vanadium, antimony, and iron ore projects. He is highly skilled in advanced mine planning software and has led strategic projects including feasibility studies, financial evaluations, and decarbonisation strategies for major mining operations in Australia, Indonesia, Alaska, and beyond.
