Julia Lamorelle

Biography

Julia is Head of GP Advisory at SLR, where she leads the firm’s advisory work with private market investors globally. She has over a decade of experience advising leading investors and their portfolio companies on sustainability strategy, value creation, due diligence, and the integration of ESG considerations into investment and business decisions.

Julia advises more than 160 private market investors across private equity, private credit, growth and venture, and real assets. She works closely with senior investment professionals, limited partners, portfolio company leaders, and industry partners, bringing a broad perspective on the evolving sustainability priorities shaping private markets.

As a senior leader within SLR, Julia leads a team of 60+ professionals and is responsible for strategic client relationships, market development, and the continued growth of the firm’s private markets advisory capabilities. She joined SLR through its acquisition of Malk Partners, a leading advisor on ESG and sustainability in private markets, where she spent more than seven years building and leading the firm’s GP Advisory business.
