Chris Hambling joins SLR’s Waste and Resources Management team

SLR Consulting Australia Pty Ltd (SLR) is pleased to announce the expansion of our Waste and Resources Management team with the recent addition of Chris Hambling as a Principal in our Brisbane office. Chris is a waste, recycling and resource recovery specialist and environmental project manager with over 15 years’ industry experience. Recently, Chris oversaw the delivery and stakeholder engagement across a range of significant waste and resource recovery policy reforms, including the delivery of Queensland’s Waste Management and Resource Recovery Strategy released in 2019 and program managing the development of Queensland’s recently released Energy from Waste policy and reforms to other waste related legislation. Chris also has specialist experience and understanding of pollution, groundwater, surface water, soils, contamination, and carbon accounting, gained from working on projects in both Australia and the UK.

Chris will be joining SLR’s industry leading team which is led by Asia Pacific Technical Discipline Manager - Chani Lokuge.
