Biography
Gemma is a Senior GIS Analyst with over six years of experience applying geospatial technologies to support complex environmental, energy, and infrastructure projects. She specialises in spatial analysis, data management, digital innovation, and figure production, providing geospatial expertise to multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle. She is highly proficient in ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, ArcGIS Online, and QGIS, with additional experience in field-based GIS data collection and management.
Throughout her career, Gemma has applied GIS to a diverse range of environmental and renewable energy projects across the UK, Ireland, and internationally. She has supported projects from initial site identification and feasibility assessment through to development and construction, delivering spatial analysis, constraint mapping, and geospatial insights to inform decision-making. Her experience includes renewable energy technologies such as solar PV, onshore wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and floating solar, as well as establishing collaborative GIS approaches across international teams. She has also worked closely with colleagues across a wide range of technical disciplines, providing GIS support, digital solutions, data analysis, and high-quality cartographic outputs to meet project requirements.
