Internationally recognized water and digital infrastructure leader joins SLR

We are pleased to welcome Beau Schilz to SLR as Head of Water Advisory, Americas.

Based in Seattle, Beau brings nearly two decades of experience in water resource management, infrastructure planning, and environmental stewardship across the public and private sectors. His background includes more than a decade at Amazon, where he helped shape water and infrastructure strategies that supported the company's rapidly expanding digital infrastructure footprint. Throughout his career, he has worked across water and wastewater infrastructure, corporate water stewardship, and the planning and development of complex infrastructure projects, including large-scale data centers. He has led multidisciplinary teams, managed multi-billion-dollar infrastructure investments, and advanced water efficiency and reuse initiatives that support both growing communities and rapidly expanding industries.

In his role, Beau will help advance SLR's next phase of growth in the industrial and digital infrastructure sectors, with a particular focus on water strategy and resource management. Drawing on his experience leading large-scale water and infrastructure programs, he will work closely with our Energy and Waste Advisory teams and technical specialists to help clients improve performance, reduce risk, and address the growing water demands associated with industrial and digital infrastructure development.

As demand for AI and cloud infrastructure continues to grow, water use and resource management are becoming increasingly important considerations in digital infrastructure development. SLR brings together specialists in water, environmental services, permitting, and engineering to help clients plan for sustainable growth in this evolving sector. Beau's addition further strengthens our capabilities in supporting the water management needs of digital infrastructure projects.
