Maria-Ines Maita

Biography

Maria-Ines is a lawyer with a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Development with a broad range of domestic and international experience in the fields of Indigenous relations and stakeholder engagement; environmental and socio-economic impact assessment; ESG assurance and regulatory affairs. Much of her career has been focused on providing leadership and strategic advice to assess resource development impacts, design mitigations and enhancement measures to help clients maintain and sustain access to land. She has held advisory and management positions with oil and gas companies, Canadian and Peruvian Governments, and environmental consulting firms.
