Biography

Christon "Chris" Robbins is a Principal Scientist in SLR’s Ecology and Biodiversity division. He brings over 22 years of industry experience specializing in the environmental review process as well as federal, state, and local permitting and natural resources issues. He has conducted and managed Due Diligence and State Environmental Quality reviews for a wide variety of clients including commercial, residential, and trail-related projects. In addition to working closely with the planning and town/village boards of local municipalities, Chris regularly communicates with federal, state, and regional agencies including the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), New York State Department of State (NYSDOS), New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP), the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Eastern and Western Permits departments, the Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC).
