Challenge
SLR have been working with Westerleigh Group for over 10 years, assisting them in developing their nationwide network of crematoria.
The client has sites nationwide, including Southampton, Melrose, Cromer and Newport, - with 13 completed, three currently onsite, and a further four in the planning stage.
In addition, SLR has also worked with the client on feasibility studies and smaller extensions or alterations on many of their existing sites.
Solution
SLR worked closely with Westerleigh from an early stage to help guide the design process and deliver what was desired. The long-term relationship builds an inherent understanding of the client’s preferences (even outside the scope of our appointment) and also enables us to assist the contractor by our in-depth knowledge of the task in hand.
SLR provided a broad range of services on this project, led by the Civil Engineering Team.
Impact
Our close liaison with the client and their other consultants is the SLR ‘bedrock’ in delivering these services.
