Biography

Victoria Restivo is an Environmental Scientist in the Risk Assessment & Toxicology Technical Discipline at SLR Consulting. Victoria has three years of experience in surface water and sediment quality assessment, aquatic toxicity, and human health and ecological risk assessment. She has conducted risk assessments and environmental site assessments following guidance and methods from the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment, Environment and Climate Change Canada, Health Canada, and the Canadian Standards Association as well as various provincial and territorial bodies (ON, BC, SK, YT, NWT). Victoria specializes in aquatic ecological risk assessment, conducting complex risk assessments that quantify risks to ecological receptors occupying all trophic levels. Victoria has a MSc in aquatic toxicology from McMaster University where she studied the effects of wastewater effluent exposure to rainbow darter fish in the Grand River (Waterloo/Kitchener, Ontario).
