Paul Whitaker

Biography

Paul is a Director based in Manchester with 16+ years experience working on development projects for private and public-sector clients on a range of mixed-use developments across the UK. His role involves providing client advice for a wide range of development proposals around the UK, including initial site feasibility and land promotion, masterplan development, preparation and audit of Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and Environmental Impact Assessments, negotiation of planning conditions (including s.106 contributions) and public consultation.Through his project experience he has a real focus on place making, accessibility and connectivity in the context of improved, health, well-being and climate.

To complement Paul’s transport planning experience, he is adept at understanding the interactions between disciplines including highway design, flood risk, drainage and environmental issues and has prepared evidence and expert witness statements for written planning appeals, hearings and public inquiries, including Compulsory Purchase Order and Stopping Up Order procedures.
