Maria Jose Subiela

Biography

Maria-Jose leads SLR'S ESG Advisory EMEA team. Maria-Jose ('MJ') is an experienced projects director specialised in ESG strategy and measurement, with a strong understanding of global sustainability trends. She led the creation of the BITC’s Responsible Business Tracker, an ESG measurement tool aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and designed for companies to measure and improve their performance. Over the past 17 years Maria-Jose has supported companies across industries in developing and implementing their global responsible business strategies. As part of her international work, she has developed community partnerships between NGOs, government and companies in more than 20 countries. She has a passion for influencing and supporting others in making a positive contribution to society.
