Louise Wheeler

Biography

Louise is a Consultant within the Energy Advisory team, focusing on grid services including connection applications, feasibility studies, technical due diligence, and modelling work in DIgSILENT PowerFactory. Louise has gained extensive experience of the electricity distribution grid, utilising publicly available data to enable clients to identify feasible grid connections.

Louise has liaised with distribution network operators (DNO) throughout the connection application process to achieve the best outcomes for her clients and has developed a strong understanding of the current CP30 and TMO4+ grid reform processes. She maintains awareness of the progression from Gate 2 to the whole-queue process and regularly attends DNO and national energy system operator (NESO) webinars to understand potential future impacts on clients.
