Biography

Erin Hansen is a Professional Engineer with over 14 years of experience in air quality compliance and consulting. She specializes in upstream and midstream oil and gas regulatory programs, with a focus on storage tank closed vent system engineering assessments, leading SLR’s team in developing effective, regulation‑aligned solutions for clients.

Additionally, Erin has broad experience in air permitting, regulatory compliance, process simulation (ProMax®, GLYCalc, EPA Tanks, etc.), carbon accounting, and emission inventory development. She also has specialized experience in Scope 1–3 emissions calculations, environmental auditing, and consent decree management.

In addition to her consulting work, Erin has 2 years of experience in industry, supporting major‑source air quality monitoring, compliance, and reporting at a steel recycling and manufacturing mill.
