Biography

Chris is an accomplished and innovative professional with 22 years professional experience in environmental consulting and remediation contracting, currently based in our Perth office. He is a former Vice President of the Australian Contaminated Land Consultants Association. He has a strong track record as a Team Manager, Project Manager and Project Director, combining rigorous analysis and creative problem solving to develop optimal environmental solutions for clients with a focus on commercial risk, safety, and quality.

His professional experience is diverse with key skills in contaminated land management, specialising in Per and Polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), hazardous materials, remediation, due diligence regulatory and stakeholder liaison, environmental compliance, and environmental management. He has experience in all stages of contaminated land assessment, remediation, and validation. His major relevant experience is demonstrated through his understanding of the WA Contaminated Site Regulations and proven track record in achieving regulatory end points for site reclassification under the WA Contaminated Sites Act (2003).

Chris has ‘hands on’ remediation contracting experience with a variety of remediation technologies including Monitored Natural Attenuation (MNA), stabilisation, solidification, soil washing, thermal desorption, Multi Phase Vacuum Extraction (MPVE) and bioremediation.

Chris has worked with a broad spectrum of clients which include Defence, Government agencies and clients in the resources, oil, and gas industry to gain closure on impacted sites through close working relationships with International, Local, State and Federal Regulatory bodies.
