Biography
Charles is a Chartered Minerals Surveyor, Chartered Engineer, and Chartered Waste Manager with over 35 years’ experience in the mineral and waste sectors.
Charles provides mineral estates, waste and environmental management services throughout the UK and has extensive knowledge of the minerals and waste industries. He has developed wide ranging project management skills having over the last 25 years lead multiple business acquisitions, asset acquisitions, valuations, land acquisitions, planning applications and engineering projects.
Charles has strong interpersonal and communication skills and has the ability to deal with a wide range of complex projects. He has dealt regularly with the Planning Authority, Environment Agency, Local Authorities, shareholders, local politicians, customers, consultants, contractors, staff etc. and has significant experience of reaching settlement / agreement by negotiation, but also dispute resolution through the more formal routes of mediation and tribunal / court.
