Biography

Anthony is an archaeologist and heritage consultant with 30 years’ experience in the public and commercial sectors, and has worked on major infrastructure projects throughout the UK including HS2, East West Rail, Energy schemes and National Highways schemes. Anthony specialises in managing large scale infrastructure and masterplan projects throughout the UK including Nuclear Power schemes, Power Station decommissioning projects and large-scale Solar and BESS schemes. He has managed large linear schemes highlighting potential issues and providing effective solutions to heritage constraints. Anthony was Historic Environment Manager for HS2, Phase One scheme covering the West Midlands and Birmingham tasked with managing heritage and archaeology from scoping to mitigation.

Anthony’s key skills and background include the preparation and delivery of planning consents and negotiation with consent granting bodies across a range of heritage residential and infrastructure projects. He has extensive knowledge and practical experience of planning policy and legislation and seeks to provide clients with creative solutions to heritage constraints. Anthony also has experience as expert witness at Planning Inquiries and Appeals.
