Biography

Alice is currently based in our Auckland office and consults on environmental management matters for local government, iwi, and private clients. As an Environmental Engineer, her technical specialties include assessing and managing the environmental impacts of pollutant discharges on land, water, and communities.

Her passion lies in working alongside iwi to protect the environment and freshwater quality. A huge proponent for sustainability, Alice has spoken on key issues at several major events, such as the Massey University College of Sciences and Māori Capping Ceremonies and the ‘Imagining Decolonised Cities’ Symposium.

Alice is currently an Associate Director (Te Amonuku) with Wakatū and an elected member of the Sustainable Business Council Advisory Board. She is also an advisory group member of the Science for Technological Innovation (SfTI) Clean Water Technology research program to 2024 and is Chair of the Tread Lightly Charitable Trust.

Alice's iwi affiliations are Ngāti Toa Rangitira, Ngāti Koata (Wakatū), Ngāi Tahu, Kahungunu ki Wairarapa and Ngāti Ranginui.
