SLR’s new Ghana office has now been formally opened and we are extremely happy to welcome our two Ghanaian team members to SLR – Peter Ofori and Osbert Quayson. SLR has already been working in Ghana for some time with a number of projects for our clients in the Mining and Minerals sector, and increasingly in the Infrastructure sector, taking place in the country.

Opening our office in Ghana provides an important base to service the in-country needs of our clients, and increasingly to clients across the West Africa region.

Our partner in Ghana, Dr Reginald Hammah, has fantastic technical capability and has made the office opening a smooth process, as well as being a pleasure to work with.

Our new Ghana office will be a client-centric, West African consultancy, but differentiated through SLR’s strong culture of professional excellence, and caring for our people. With an initial focus on mine waste management, multidisciplinary environmental projects, land remediation and water management solutions, the team will also be supported by senior SLR staff from other regions, increasing our skillset and allowing collaboration on both regional and international SLR projects.
