Adding to our resiliency, community engagement, and environmental management offering
SLR is pleased to welcome Principal Consultant Nicole Johnson to our Anchorage, Alaska office. With a diverse background in environmental management and community engagement, Nicole has worked closely with private sector clients, technical associations, native villages, and native corporations throughout Alaska to provide a range of environmental protection and sustainable practises. In her previous roles, she has interfaced closely with tribal governments assisting with state, federal, and non-governmental field projects, and the management of emergent environmental risks. Her expertise includes participating in national tribal air quality, contaminated sites, and lands management steering committees. Nicole’s commitment to strategic planning with climate issues was acknowledged in 2012 with her Group Achievement Award from NASA for her work on the creation of a facility specific Climate Change Adaptation Strategic Plan.
“Nicole will work closely with all our technical teams to continue to expand our consulting services in support of our Alaska clients and communities,” commented Kevin Rattue, United States Regional Manager. He further remarked that “It is a reflection of our ongoing commitment to Alaska and to provide services to assist clients in addressing the nature of existing and emerging environmental matters.”
