Hosted by the Food and Drink Federation, this webinar discusses the updated Food and Drink sector BREF note BAT conclusions (BATc) that were published on the 4th December 2019. This has triggered an environmental permit review for the Food and Drink sector by the UK environmental regulators, which may lead to new Emission Limit Values (ELVs) being imposed in the amended permits. You must be compliant with the new ELVs within 4 years, i.e. December 2023. This webinar will cover:

  • Main changes in the revised BREF
  • EMS requirements
  • The permit review process
  • Regulation 61 notices
  • Derogation request

Paul has over 10 years’ experience of environmental regulation. Prior to joining SLR he was the Industry Regulation Team Leader for North and Mid Wales for Natural Resources Wales responsible for the regulation of over 120 industrial sites, 14 of which were Food and Drink sites.
