At SLR Consulting, we are committed to strengthening our expertise and enhancing our ability to support clients worldwide. Over the past year, we have significantly expanded our Mining services through strategic hires and acquisitions, allowing us to offer specialized solutions that address the evolving needs of the industry.

Our growth in Canada has been particularly exciting. With the recent acquisitions of Palmer Environmental Consulting Group, Robertson GeoConsultants (RGC), and Responsible Mining Solutions (RMS), our Canadian team has grown to over 600 professionals. These additions bring decades of experience and deep technical expertise in geotechnical engineering, process engineering, hydrology and hydrogeology, tailings management and paste backfill, mining advisory, ecology, water resources, and more.

By integrating these highly skilled teams, we are enhancing our ability to provide forward-thinking solutions tailored to the unique challenges of the mining industry, while reinforcing our commitment to Making Sustainability Happen.

David Walker, SLR’s Global Mining Sector Director, said, “SLR is in an exciting period of growth and transformation, strengthening our ability to support clients and drive impactful environmental solutions worldwide. Our expansion in Canada and beyond is fostering new opportunities for collaboration, resource sharing, and technical innovation. This is particularly important in the mining sector, where evolving trends and the demand for sustainable solutions require expertise, innovation, and a proactive approach.”

As we continue to invest in talent and technical capabilities, we look forward to expanding our ability to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions and remaining at the forefront of industry advancements.
