Conservation - in association with the Food and Drink Federation
This course is being run in association with the Food and Drink Federation and is part of a suite of online Environmental Law and Compliance Management Training Modules. Registration can be made directly on the FDF website here.
There is significant pressure on organisations to manage environmental impacts directly and through the wider life cycle that that can interact with biodiversity and wider ecosystems. This is particularly relevant for food and drink sector organisations who have a significant dependence and reliance on the natural environment.
This course will provide practical examples of the ways food and drink businesses and their supply chains typically interact with the natural environment. It will provide delegates with an understanding of the main regulatory framework, key laws and compliance obligations for conservation including the protection and enhancement of land, plants, animals and their habitats.
The course will be useful for delegates new to environmental law wishing to gain an initial understanding but will also be useful as a refresher and for other personnel wishing to understand the conservation regulatory framework.
