Biography

David is an Associate Consultant and a technical lead for large‑scale solar and hybrid energy projects, with over 20 years’ international experience across the energy sector. He holds two bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, and a master’s degree in Energy Systems and Fluid Dynamics. Over the past decade, David has delivered technical advisory, design, modelling, feasibility, and due‑diligence services for more than 1 GWp of grid‑connected PV projects, covering fixed‑tilt and single‑axis tracker systems using mono‑ and bifacial technologies. His expertise includes PV performance optimisation, notably DC/AC ratio optimisation based on Net Present Value for utility‑scale bifacial plants. David has led complex hybrid and off‑grid studies for mining and mini‑grid projects, integrating solar, wind, thermal generation, and BESS.
