Strengthening Canada's ESG Advisory Capabilities

We are excited to announce that Ben Parsons has joined SLR to support the continued development of our ESG Advisory services in Canada. In this role, Ben will support the SLR team in developing our service offerings in management systems, liability assessment and management, risk management, regulatory compliance and sustainability.

Ben has over 25 years of work experience within industry as well as in the provision of environmental and regulatory consulting services to the oil and gas, mining, power, transportation and infrastructure sectors throughout Canada and the United States. He has strong technical proficiencies in due diligence, enterprise risk assessment, stage gate project development, and management system design and implementation. Ben is a licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Ben will use his background and experience to provide solutions to complex regulatory and environmental challenges at both the site and enterprise level using risk-based approaches. This includes everything from consulting on specific environmental or regulatory issues, to developing strategic frameworks for assessing and quantifying enterprise risk to support corporate decision making.
