NICOLA 2023 Conference (Africa)

We are looking forward to attending and presenting at the Annual Conference of the Network for Industrially Contaminated Land in Africa (NICOLA), taking place in the Kruger National Park, South Africa, from 25 – 26 October 2023. SLR is one of the sponsors at this year’s event.

The theme of this year’s conference is “The Soil-Water-Sediment Nexus: Co-creating Future Resilience”.

SLR at the Exhibition and Conference

SLR will be presenting two topics at the conference. The “Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality Day Zero detailed hydrocensus – challenges and outcomes” presentation will be done by Rachael Litiya and Thikho Mufamadi, whilst Teboho Maidza and Muazzam Hashim will be presenting “Complex contaminants – MTBE”. Along with these four colleagues, Sylvia McIntosh, who is a NICOLA committee member, will be in attendance.
