Proposed Changes to Infrastructure Layout and Activities at the Mamatwan Mine

Hotazel Manganese Mines (Pty) Ltd (HMM), a subsidiary of South32, is proposing to make changes to infrastructure layout and activities at the Mamatwan Mine (MMT), located 25 km south of the town Hotazel, in the Northern Cape Province. 

MMT is making an application to the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy for an integrated environmental authorisation and update of the mine's Environmental Management Programme to address a number of layout and activity changes that have already taken place at the MMT, as well as cater for further layout and activity changes that are proposed.
